Job Description

At Align we help busy remote leaders find executives more efficiently by removing the wasted time spent with typical legacy exec search. We specialize in matching experienced leaders with innovative small internet based companies typically in SaaS businessescreative agencies and Private Equity/Holdcos. We understand the unique challenges and opportunities of working remotely and we use that knowledge to streamline the recruitment process for both companies and candidates. Were white glove exec search made accessible to smaller fast moving companies.

Job Summary:


As an Executive Recruiter you will be instrumental in driving the growth of our firm by identifying engaging and recruiting highcaliber executives for our clients. As mentioned in the above we do things a bit differently. We work almost exlusively with Founders in finding early exeuctives for their internet businesses. You will manage the full recruitment cycle from initial client consultation to candidate placement ensuring an efficientand effective executive search process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients to understand their executive staffing needs and organizational culture. We are consultants for our founders and we help them navigate some of the hardest decisions they make.
  • Conduct detailed market research to map out target industries and relevant candidate pools.
  • Utilize various sourcing techniques to attract and engage potential candidates including networking direct sourcing and social media outreach.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of candidates qualifications leadership potential and cultural fit through indepth interviews and reference checks.
  • Coordinate and facilitate the interview process between candidates and clients providing guidance and negotiation assistance when necessary.
  • Offer strategic advice to clients regarding candidate selection market trends and recruitment best practices.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of all recruitment activities using the latest collaboration and AI tools.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an executive recruiter ideally within a specialized recruitment agency working with smaller internet based businesses (SaaS Agencies)
  • Strong understanding of executive search methodologies and the ability to manage seniorlevel searches with discretion and professionalism. Youve done this before and know how to avoid common pitfalls during the process.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the capability to engage effectively with senior executives. We need someone who is really strong in identifying talent but also working with clients.
  • A proactive approach to problemsolving and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines. You need to be relentless.
