Consultant Production Support

Job Purpose Responsible for supporting the release testing and forwarding them to production from Production Support prospective.

Documenting the changes involved in preparing the Release changes deploying the release into prep rod environment and performing the sanity and NFR testing.

Job Accountabilities

Responsible for supporting POS release testing

Documenting the test cases with respect NFRs and sanity testing

Documenting the changes and updating release commits in confluence.

Preparing the release document

Deploying the release into PREPROD environment

Supporting the clients testing

Responsible for representing IT Operations requirement in sprint grooming meetings.

Issue identification and Quick fix

Issue analysis Root cause analysis and implementing corrective and preventive actions

Addressing Risk and compliance issues related to application

Interaction and followup with Vendors on the system related issues

Work with the vendors during implantations and migrations

Ensure confidentiality of sensitive data and client information

Removing residual risk and providing solution that complies with the NI policies

Requirements

6 Years of Experience in IT (Implementation/DevOps Support) including minimum 4 years of experience in Banking & Payment Industry & minimum 3 years of experience on Implementation and DevOps Support

Good understanding of POS concepts and different types of POS machines in the market like VeriFone Ingenico and Android POS

Hands on experience in Linux environment and shell scripting.

Knowledge in JIRA and Remedy

Good Understanding on MYSQL SQL Server and MONGODB Database

Good understanding of ISO message formats.

Efficient Communication Skills

Knowledge of Banking Sectors online processing Batch Processing s Acquiring and issuing concepts
