Perform security assessments and risk analysis on automotive systems including embedded software communication protocols and vehicle networks.
Devise and implement security solutions to mitigate identified risks and vulnerabilities.
Develop and uphold security requirements and specifications for automotive systems and components.
Collaborate with product development teams to integrate security controls and mechanisms into automotive software and hardware design and implementation.
Execute security testing including penetration testing and vulnerability scanning to identify and rectify potential weaknesses in automotive systems.
Monitor and analyze security events and incidents responding to security breaches or incidents as needed.
Keep abreast of the latest trends and developments in automotive cybersecurity offering recommendations to enhance the security of our products.
Participate in security reviews and audits internally and externally ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Electrical Engineering or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in cybersecurity are advantageous.
Demonstrated experience in cybersecurity roles with specific expertise in automotive cybersecurity preferred.
Comprehensive understanding of security principles protocols and technologies particularly focusing on embedded systems and network security.
Proficient in security assessment tools and methodologies such as threat modeling risk analysis and security testing.
