Job Description

Job Title: Software Engineer (Hybrid)

  • Location: Lexington MA
  • Job Type: W2 Contract
Background/Need:
The Advanced Sensors and Techniques Group (92) develops and demonstrates tacticallyrelevant space situational awareness (SSA) in support of space control. The group focuses on the techniques operational concepts and advanced sensor systems that are needed to obtain timely and predictive information about space objects. Group 92 is in need of a Software Engineer to aid in the development of software to support their mission.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Designing the interactions between modules and designing the components themselves.
Work with other developers to enable a resilient and capable software infrastructure for data and image processing used by operators and analysts.
Must Have:
Java 17
Experience creating web UIs ideally with Angular 15.
Creating SQL database queries.
Nice to Have:
Messaging systems (such as ActiveMQ)
Spring Boot Starter
MATLAB
Python
Education & Experience: 5 years of relevant work experience.
Work Authorization: US Citizenship is required due to the nature of the work.
