Under general direction, determines and develops approaches to develop, verify, document, and approve Airborne Electronic Hardware (AEH) in electronic and electrical systems and equipment.
Contribute to analysis and translation of system requirements to hardware requirements and detailed design data to create AEH.
Contribute to review of hardware requirements validation and verification work in complex system designs to assure that operational and functional requirements are met.
Works with others to approve equipment verification strategies and system hardware testing to meet airplane certification requirements.
Conducts independent reviews of equipment developer processes and data, and reports results to program leadership.
Provides critical support for changes to AEH in fielded equipment over the entire product lifecycle.
