Accountant

Our client seeks an Accountant to oversee finance functions audits and budgeting for their Sacco in Nairobi.

Primary Reporting: Chief Executive Officer

Purpose of Job /Role Intent: Oversee finance function perform technical accounting tasks assist in audits budgeting and cash flow projections. Ensure compliance and ethical business practices.

4. Fixed assets management
   
5. Supply chain oversight
   

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop financial strategy
  
• Monitor expenses and budget
  
• Ensure statutory compliance
  
• Manage cash flow and investments
  
• Maintain relationships with internal clients
  
• Facilitate communication with stakeholders
  
• Establish financial procedures and controls
  
• Coordinate external audits
  
• Oversee procurement process
  
• Manage payroll and employee expenses
  
• Analyze financial information
  

Requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor s degree in Accounting or related field
  
• CPA (K) or Equivalent
  
• 3 years experience in accounting
  
• Familiarity with Navision System
  
• Knowledge of SASRA regulations
