A SITS Support engineer must have at least 34 years SITSdevelopment experience within Higher Education and/or University and will have strong knowledge and experience of developing through all core SITS functions/implementation lifecycle.
Must have worked to support the management and maintenance of SITS platform deliver essential functionality to enable the management of students throughout the Academic lifecycle and maintain the system and service quality to mitigate against potential major incidents/Bug fixing/Level2/3 Support.
A good understanding of the data structures in SITS
Demonstrable experience in configuring Tribals SITS software which must include the ability to develop: SRLs Vistas and Tasks
Knowledge of SITS Module Registration Progression and Awards IPP functionality
Experience of web functionality including HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript jQuery JSON/XML knowledge of style sheets with API (Restful) to communicate different components of Tribal SITS.
Periodic Deployments to Production
Basic understanding of ITSM Planning and implementing IT Service Management processes software and tools to optimize IT service delivery and reduce costs.
Knowledge of SQL / Oracle to store and manage student data /academic records etc
Good to have :
Basic knowledge on Power BI/SSIS/SSRS for generating reports dashboards and analytics based on student data.
Integration and middleware experience with Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) and Apache Camel
Security : Oauth /RBAC (Role based access control) to ensure secure access to student data.
