The Oracle Technical Project Manager will be responsible for managing the Next Generation 911 (NG911) project from the development phase through to production GoLive specifically supporting the end client and Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD). This role requires effective project oversight resource management and collaboration across various divisions and governmental entities.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management: Lead the NG911 project ensuring that all aspects are delivered ontime within scope and within budget. Manage changes to the project scope schedule and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
Team Leadership: Assign tasks to project staff ensuring clear expectations and timely completion. Maintain continuous alignment of project scope with strategic business objectives making recommendations to modify and improve the project when necessary.
Stakeholder Engagement: Coordinate and collaborate with all divisions within endclient other bureaus and entities within the New York City government to ensure project success.
Resource Allocation: Identify and allocate necessary resources effectively and efficiently managing both staff and equipment to meet project milestones.
Risk Management: Identify project risks and mitigation strategies ensuring timely action to prevent delays and potential impacts on the project.
