Hello
Position: Proxy Engineer
Location: Charlotte NC/Chandler AZ & Chicago IL (Hybrid 3 days onsite/2 days remote)
Duration: 6 months with potential for extension
Client: Bank of America
Pay Rate: $60/hr W2 MAX
Need local to Charlotte NC/Chicago IL/Chandler AZ.
**Candidates must be able to work directly on Apexs W2 without sponsorship.
The client is looking for a TRUE Proxy Engineer with McAfee AND Bluecoat/Broadcom/Symantec experience.
Requirements:
- 6 yrs of professional experience with Network or Cyber Security
- 5 yrs experience of Bluecoat/Symantec/Broadcom and McAfee
- 5 yrs of Proxy Servers and Network security experience; knowledge of firewall policies web content filtering and authentication protocols
Nice to have skills (not required):
F5 SSLO
CCNA certification
Strong communication
Day to day consists of submitting requests for the proxy rule changes to move the clients infrastructure from one data center to another receiving those requests doing the design work peer reviewing and staging while offshore team does the implementation.
