Job Description
Chase County Community Hospital is looking for emergency or family medicine (w/ ER experience no OB) locums coverage as soon as May!
They are looking for someone that would be willing to provide the Chief of Staff role for their Critical Access Hospital the Medical Director for the Rural Health Clinic and lastly be the collaborating Physician for our PA s (3) and NP s (2).
Open Dates:
- 5/24 7am 5/29 7am; (5) 24 hour days (120 hours)
- 6/7 7am 6/12 7am; (5) 24 hour days (120 hours)
- 6/21 7am 6/26 7am; (5) 24 hour days (120 hours)
- 7/3 7am 7/8 7am (5) 24 hour days (120 hours)
- 7/19 7am 7/24 7am (5) 24 hour days (120 hours)
- 8/2 7am 8/7 7am; (5) 24 hour days (120 hours)
- 8/16 7am 8/21 7am (5) 24 hour days (120 hours)
Job Details:
- One provider (MD or APP) is available. Then there is typically 3 clinical staff working from 5pm to about 8am. The three clinical staff would entail at least one RN charge nurse and then it might be a LPN and/or CNA in addition to the one RN.
- No surgeon or CRNAs available for emergencies. We generally stabilize these folks and get them transferred to a larger hospital for that higher level of acuity care.

Travel exception requests will be denied if this information is not part of the provider presentation. Please also indicate the city where provider will be traveling from in the travel section of the provider submission.

We have a very welcoming staff and community. Imperial is an easy 3 hour drive from Denver (DIA). Mild 4 season climate lake golf courses hunting/fishing easily accessible and local winery (bike available for use). Two local grocery stores. Several locally owned restaurants along with Pizza Hut and Subway.
Rates to Submit: 24hr call rate w/ 8 hours gratis included
Requirement description :
- Emergency Medicine Board Certified REQUIRED
- Family Medicine Board Certified w/ ER Experience REQUIRED
- NE License & DEA or IMLC (LOQ in hand) REQUIRED
- ACLS BLS PALS REQUIRED
- Clean Background Highly Preferred
- Availability at time of name clear Required
