TPF Recruitment are supporting an excellent chartered accountancy practice based in Paddock Wood who are looking for aPart Time Senior Accountant to join their experienced team across a general accounts and tax focused position. This really is a fantastic opportunity to be part of such a great practice.
As a Part Time Senior Accountant you will report into Managers and partners and be responsible for a mixed client portfolio made up of small business owners through to billionaires. You will be based in an amazing office in a rural location in Paddock Wood and also have the opportunity for hybrid working and flexible working hours. This is a great position with an excellent firm with a modern culture who promote an excellent work life balance. Full time or parttime applicants will be considered.

You will be responsible for:
- Prepare annual statutory accounts predominantly FRS 102 clients using IRIS software
- Preparing tax corporate tax returns
- Opprouirntiy to complete self assessment returns too
- Oversee and review the work of more junior staff and bookkeepers
- Support the Managers with onboarding new clients
Requirements
- You will be ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience with at least 3 years experience within practice.
- You will have worked as Semi Senir or Senior accountant within practice
- Experience of Iris and cloud software such as Xero/ Quickbooks would be advantageous

For this fantastic Semi Senior opportunity in Chatham, you may be an AAT studying, and/or perhaps studying ACCA or looking to build further on your experience following qualifying AAT, with a background in accountancy practice, with at least 2 - 4 years or more experience within practice, preparing accounts, tax and other responsibilities for a mixed client base of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. You will be looking for a challenging, long term career move, at Accounts Semi Senior / Senior level, within a genuinely growing and expanding firm of chartered accountants, offering progression and career development.
