Job Description

3 months contract with a local authority

Job Summary:

This position involves providing a comprehensive service to enable the Local Authority (LA) fulfil its statutory duties in relation to the assessment of pupils with special educational needs by ensuring the efficient and effective implementation of statutory procedures and the appropriate placement and ongoing provision arrangements for Enfield residing pupils both inside and outside the LA area.

Essential Experience Required:

A minimum of 6 months experience of SEN Casework and EHC Plan writing for a Local Authority is essential the candidate will need to have extensive experience working on a post 14 team applicants without this will not be considered.

Experience in Local Authority SEN to have been in the last 2 years

Additional information to note:

Enhanced DBS check needed.

36 hours per week

The closing date for this position is 03/05/2024



1. Ability to use word processing packages, spreadsheets and databases to a high standard, including database reporting tools. 2. Ability to effectively communicate to a high standard verbally and in writing with parents, young people, schools, professionals, members of the public and other agencies. 3. Ability to initiate working in partnership with parents young people, schools, professionals and other agencies.
