We currently have a new opportunity for an experienced Office Administrator to join the team at OCU Northavon in our Taunton Office.The administrator is responsible for supporting the efficient operation of the office by performing a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. They will undertake administrative duties such as filing typing copying binding scanning etc. They will also assist in resolving administrative problems and inquiries.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide general administrative support including answering phones greeting visitors responding to emails and managing the office calendar.
  • Input and maintain data in databases and spreadsheets accurately and efficiently.
  • Prepare and format documents such as letters memos reports and presentations.
  • Maintain filing systems both electronic and physical ensuring that documents are organised and easily accessible.
  • Draft and proofread correspondence emails and other written materials as required.
  • Assist in scheduling meetings preparing agendas taking minutes and planning for meetings.
  • Monitor and maintain office supplies inventory anticipate needs and place orders as necessary.
  • Make travel arrangements for staff including booking flights accommodation and transportation.
  • Provide administrative support for special projects and initiatives as directed by management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as relevant regulations.

Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience as an administrator or similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Discretion and confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information.
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
