What we do

Revalue supercharges the worlds leading naturebased carbon projects developers. We provide them with the required technical support and competitive financing to go from the initial rapid assessment of potential project areas to the first carbon credits issuance and beyond. This is underpinned by our proprietary tech which creates a stepchange in accuracy speed automation and level of insights.

Tasks

The role

Revalue Nature (RVN) is looking for an exceptional Manager to join our Project Assessment team.

As the Assessment Manager you will play a crucial role in overseeing the endtoend development of projects starting from their origination to their certification by a carbon standard such as Verra.

In this role you will build a holistic view of the project and oversee its content. You will collaborate with our team of experts including scientists foresters and biodiversity leads to consolidate and critically review the scientific components. You will also work closely with the project manager to help prioritize and drive projects progress.

Your primary objective will be to critically review and challenge our projects ensuring that we focus Revalue resources on the highest quality highest potential projects. Additionally you will present the projects to the Assessment Committee when decisions need to be made.

We are looking for a versatile leader with exceptional conceptual analytical and communication skills a talent for solving complex problems and a willingness to delve into details and acquire knowledge quickly. Previous experience in Nature Based Solutions (NBS) is highly preferred.

This is a full time position.

Location: ideally UK/Europe; Africa or SE Asia will also be considered

What you will do

• Coach and manage a team of Assessment Associates and Analysts
• Structure the sequence of assessment categories to ensure efficiency
• Give team guidance on assessment/content requirements
• Pressure test & review assessment write ups to ensure they are clear to the point and answer the right questions
• Hold a holistic view of multiple projects in your mind
• Ensure team has a shared mental model of our projects at all times
• Bring assessments to the Assessment Committee

• Exceptional track record of coaching team members in datadriven assessment methods and iterative approaches to analytics
• Ability to create clarity & structure around assessments
• Outstanding communication skills
• Driven by a sense of purpose and a desire to make a tangible impact
• Evidence that you can work in remote teams are a selfdriver with a willingness to take initiative and committed to continuous improvement and highperformance within a complex and fastgrowing sector
