We are hiring a Medical Scientist (MultiDisciplinary)in a Private Hospital in Cork Ireland.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities
- Conduct routine laboratory scientific tasks with the utmost precision and adherence to the Laboratory Departments policies procedures and guidelines.
- Collaborate with the Laboratory Manager Senior Medical Scientist and Chief Medical Scientist to implement innovative ideas and methods in alignment with Hospital policy.
- Assist in managing the registration storage and inventory of laboratory reagents and consumables as needed.
- Collaborate with the Team to aim at preventing and managing accidents within the Laboratory area.
- Actively participate in the development of the laboratory information system for the department as needed.
Requirements
- Registered Medical Scientist with CORU
- Current proficiency expertise and continuing education in biochemistry and one of the following fields: microbiology hematology or blood transfusion
- Able to join the Academy of Clinical Science and Laboratory Medicine as a member
- Experience with adhering to ISO 15189
- Adaptable cooperative and dedicated to achieving organizational and team goals
