INTERNAL AUDITOR
Reporting to Manager Internal Audit the Internal Auditor Provides assurance and consulting services intended to improve governance risk management and control processes.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Plan and execute audit engagements using the riskbased audit methodology and in conformance with the Global Audit Standards.
2. Perform data analysis highlight exceptions and document audit findings.
3. Prepare detailed audit reports give recommendations to resolve the audit findings and obtain management comments from the auditee with clear timelines on implementation.
4. Follow up with the auditee and implement of corrective action to close out the audit findings.
5. Review company standard operating procedures to enhance the internal controls embedded in these procedures.
6. Undertake special/adhoc/investigative reviews and issue reports for management action.
7. Conduct compliance reviews highlight compliance violations and propose measures to mitigate compliance risks.
8. Collect and document appropriate and sufficient audit evidence in a working paper file to support the audit findings.
9. Perform other tasks that may be assigned by the supervisor from time to time.
Requirements
Minimum qualifications;
1. Bachelors degree in a businessrelated field (accounting or finance major).
2. Professional certification in any of the following CIA/CPAK/ACCA/ CISA.
3. Member of ICPAK and any other professional body (IIA/ISACA).
4. Over 5 years of experience in audit or finance 3 of which should be practical experience in internal or external auditing.
5. Experience in ERP systems.
6. Good communication skills (both oral & written).
7. Good interpersonal skills.
8. Excellent analytical skills and Knowledge of computeraided audit tools.
9. Excellent presentation and reportwriting skills.
10. Unquestionable character and integrity.
11. Good team player selfmotivated creative innovative and focused.
