Job Description
Azure Cloud DevOps Engineer
Location: Central NJ
Duration: Long term
W2 Contract (no C2C)
Responsibilities:
- Automate release and deployment management tasks using scripting.
- Document deployment procedures and processes for various technologies.
- Improve handoffs between software migration testing and SDLC tasks.
- Establish CI/CD pipelines for applications through CLI automation.
- Learn and implement new technologies to enhance deployment efficiency.
Requirements:
- 5 years of DevOps or Agile software development experience.
- Proficiency in Azure DevOps JIRA and Terraform.
- Strong scripting skills in PowerShell Ant Python or Perl.
- Knowledge of Git/GitHub is a plus.
- Experience with automating code testing is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Puppet Chef for provisioning systems on Azure.
- Understanding of handoffs between Architecture Development QA and Operations.
