JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities:

• Communicate effectively with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
• Apply project management methodologies to ensure successful project delivery.
• Utilize systems development methodologies including analysis design and documentation.
• Demonstrate strong collaboration and partnering skills.
• Analyze issues and recommend effective solutions.
• Possess expertise in Layer 1 2 and 3 network technologies.
• Experience with WAN and SDWAN communication technologies.
• Proficient in Firewalls & switching technologies.
• Knowledge of Wireless communication technologies.
• Understand business practices relevant to the industry.
• Supervise professional and technical staff effectively.
• Lead assign review and monitor the work of others.
• Maintain a safe working environment in compliance with industry standards.
• Convey complex and highly technical information through both oral and written communication to a diverse audience.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1011 years of relevant experience in network engineering.
• Previous experience working with state or federal entities preferred.
• Indepth knowledge of Layer 1 2 and 3 network technologies.
• Proficiency in WAN and SDWAN communication technologies.
• Strong understanding of Firewalls switching and Wireless communication technologies.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies and systems development.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise and lead a technical team.
• Effective communication skills both oral and written to convey technical information to a diverse audience.
• Proven ability to analyze issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Ability to maintain a safe working environment in accordance with industry standards.

Note: Only candidates with USC GC H4EAD H1B TN visas will be considered. This is an onsite position in Austin TX. The project duration is 12 months.
