Test Automation engineer

• Review requirements specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Create detailed comprehensive and wellstructured test plans test strategy document and test cases.
• Design develop and execute automation scripts using the automation framework.
• Support building new/ improving/ maintaining existing automation framework.
• Should participate in Code review process.
• Perform regression testing and participate in release cycles.
• Implementing testing procedures and overseeing the QA process.
• Liaise with other internal teams to identify system requirements and perform endtoend testing to ensure quality throughout the life cycle.
• Stay up to date with new testing methodologies and testing tools.

• 58 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Testing Automation framework design (desirable) or related experience
• Strong experience with building and writing automation scripts and/or programs using tools such as Selenium Appium etc.
• Hands on experience in building automation framework and maintaining it.
• Strong programming experience in Java or similar object oriented language.
• Good experience in writing BDD scenarios using Gauge/Cucumber/Serenity/ any other BDD tool.
• Hands on experience in API testing preferably with Rest Assured tool.
• Experience in Security Testing/Performance Testing(preferably JMeter or Taurus) is an advantage
• Exposure to collaborating tools like GitHub JIRA Confluence
• Exposure to Scrum methodology and XP technical practices such as unit testing pair programming testdriven development continuous integration or continuous deliver
• Selfmotivated fast learner detailoriented team player and a sense of humor
