Job Description

My client is seeking an experienced Deputy Manager to support the Registered Manager in the opening and running of a new 2bed EBD home located in Derby. At the home they prioritise exceptional care and strive to create a nurturing environment where every child can thrive.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the Home
  • Provide leadership and guidance to staff members
  • Ensure highquality care is provided to our young people
  • Supervise and train staff in line with children's home regulations
  • Manage and administer medications as needed
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of resident care
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines and standards

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a senior care or assisted living setting working with children
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise responsibilities effectively
  • Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Level 34 or 5 in Health and Social Care
