Job Description:
Primary Purpose: As a Cybersecurity Architect you will be responsible for defining and maintaining cybersecurity architecture and technology plans. Your primary focus will be on creating strategy researching emerging technology and best practices and applying technology to enable business solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain cybersecurity architecture and technology plans aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
- Define cybersecurity strategies policies and procedures to mitigate risks and enhance security posture.
- Research emerging cybersecurity technologies trends and best practices to ensure alignment with industry standards.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to design and implement security solutions that meet business requirements.
- Assess and evaluate existing cybersecurity controls processes and systems for vulnerabilities and gaps.
- Provide guidance and recommendations on cybersecurity best practices standards and frameworks.
- Lead cybersecurity initiatives and projects ensuring successful delivery within scope budget and timeline.
- Conduct risk assessments and threat modeling to identify and prioritize security risks and threats.
- Develop and maintain cybersecurity documentation including architecture diagrams policies standards and procedures.
- Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats vulnerabilities and attack vectors to proactively mitigate risks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or related field. Masters degree preferred.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) or other relevant certifications preferred.
- 5 years of experience in cybersecurity architecture design and implementation.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles standards and best practices.
- Experience with cybersecurity technologies including firewalls intrusion detection/prevention systems endpoint security identity and access management encryption and security information and event management (SIEM) systems.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements such as GDPR HIPAA PCI DSS and NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex cybersecurity concepts to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to identify and mitigate security risks and threats.
- Experience working in a fastpaced environment with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
