The Opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented and enthusiastic D&T Teacher to join a thriving department within a highly regarded school. You will play a pivotal role in delivering highquality D&T lessons to students across Key Stages 3 4 and 5 (GCSE and ALevel). You will be responsible for:

• Curriculum Expertise: Developing and implementing engaging and creative D&T curriculum programs that inspire and challenge students of all abilities.
• Lesson Delivery: Planning and delivering dynamic lessons that foster a love of learning and equip students with the skills and knowledge to excel in D&T.
• Extracurricular Activities: Leading and supporting extracurricular D&T clubs and initiatives providing students with further opportunities to explore their design and technological interests.
• Student Development: Providing guidance and support to students both academically and pastorally to ensure they reach their full potential.

The Ideal Candidate

• Qualified Design and Technology Teacher (QTS/PGCE) with a relevant D&T degree.
• Proven experience of teaching D&T across a range of Key Stages ideally including GCSE and ALevel.
• A passion for D&T and the ability to create stimulating and engaging lessons that ignite curiosity and creativity in students.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with students colleagues and parents.
• A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported.
