Job Title: Oracle Applications DBA

Location: Remote

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure optimal performance and reliability of Oracle Applications including EBusiness Suite through installation configuration and upgrades.
• Conduct routine maintenance tasks like patching cloning and backup operations to maintain system security and currency.
• Monitor Oracle Applications environments for performance issues troubleshoot and implement solutions for enhanced system performance.
• Manage user access and security permissions within Oracle Applications ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Collaborate closely with developers and system administrators to support application development testing and deployment.
• Gather requirements from business stakeholders and implement enhancements or new features in Oracle Applications.
• Document system configurations procedures and best practices to facilitate knowledge sharing and team training.
• Keep abreast of Oracle Applications updates patches and releases assessing their impact and implementing necessary changes.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or related field.
• Proficient in Oracle database administration including Oracle Database 11g/12c/19c.
• Experience with installation configuration and maintenance of Oracle EBusiness Suite modules such as Financials Supply Chain Management and Human Resources.
• Familiarity with Oracle Applications patching cloning and backup procedures.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for resolving complex issues within Oracle Applications environments.
• Knowledge of Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) and other monitoring tools for Oracle Applications.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Preferred qualifications include Oracle certifications like Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or Oracle EBusiness Suite certifications.
• Experience with Ceipal or similar talent management software preferred.
