Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Telemetry Department
Location: San Dimas California
Hourly Pay Rate: $55/hr (Negotiable)
Shift: 19:00 07:30
Duration: 13week Position
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a Telemetry Department
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association (AHA)
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Telemetry Department team in San Dimas California for a 13week position during night shifts. This role offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $55/hr negotiable based on experience and provides an opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment. As an RN in the Telemetry Department you will be responsible for providing specialized care to patients with cardiac and other medical conditions requiring continuous monitoring.
Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and interpreting cardiac rhythms and vital signs for patients in the Telemetry unit.
- Assessing and documenting patient conditions and responses to treatments and medications.
- Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Administering medications intravenous fluids and other treatments as prescribed.
- Educating patients and their families about their conditions treatments and selfcare techniques.
- Responding promptly to changes in patient status or emergencies and initiating appropriate interventions.
- Ensuring accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments interventions and outcomes.
- Adhering to hospital policies procedures and standards of care.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience working as a Registered Nurse in a Telemetry Department.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of California.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced and teamoriented environment.
