Vendor Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure a reliable and cost-effective supply chain.
- Negotiate and manage contracts, terms, and conditions with vendors to optimize pricing, delivery, and quality.
Performance Monitoring
- Implement performance metrics to assess vendor performance.
- Conduct regular evaluations and audits to ensure compliance with contractual agreements.
Issue Resolution
- Address and resolve any issues or disputes with vendors in a timely and effective manner.
- Work closely with internal departments to address and prevent recurring vendor-related issues.
Strategic Planning
- Collaborate with the procurement team to develop and execute strategic sourcing initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and risk mitigation in the vendor management process.
Communication
- Facilitate effective communication between internal stakeholders and vendors.
- Ensure that vendors are informed of any changes in requirements, policies, or procedures.
Qualification/Requirements
Knowledge and Experience
- Proven experience in vendor management or related role.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate and improve processes.
Education and Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in any stream
- Master's Degree (Preferred)
