Electrical Maintenance Engineer

• Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment and systems, including generators, switchgear, motor starters, and protection systems;
• Troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical problems;
• Conducting investigations and root-cause failure analysis;
• Providing appropriate recommendations for the failure of electrical equipment;
• Maintaining records of maintenance activities in a maintenance planning system like MAXIMO;
• Ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times when working with electrical equipment and systems;
• Ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, codes, standards, etc;
• Providing effective reporting, communication, and shift handover skills.
  
  

The Ideal Candidate Should Have

• A minimum of 10 years' experience in electrical discipline for oil and gas production facilities or refineries;
• Experience with maintenance planning system like MAXIMO;
• Good knowledge in investigations and root cause failure analysis and provide appropriate recommendations for the failure of electrical equipment;
• Effective reporting, communication, and shift handover skills;
• Familiarity with PTW (Permit to Work), confined space entry, electrical isolations, operating integrity, H2S/SO2 (Hydrogen Sulfide/Sulfur Dioxide), personal protective equipment (PPE), etc;
• Adequate knowledge on Electrical PPE and protection.
