Product Engineer Fullstack

This is a remote position.

Our Client is the first fullyintegrated and modular blockchain optimized for real world assets (RWAs). We ve built an EVMcompatible L2 that s fast efficient and incredibly cheap along with an endtoend onboarding platform that lets asset issuers deploy their RWAs on chain. We re proud of our rapidly growing network which includes:

50 RWA companies building dapps and tokenizing assets on our clients test net ranging from collectibles and real estate to equities and private credit

30 technology partners working with our clients and offering special services to our ecosystem partners

We re launching our incentivized test net around May and our main net in the summer 2024. We re shipping fast and executing against those timelines together.

Interview Process

1 Take Home Test

The coding screen is administered on HackerRank and we will send a personalized link directly to your email. It consists of three coding questions each of which should take approximately 20 minutes for a skilled candidate. You can choose any language to implement the solutions in even Python passes all the test cases in time.

The questions can be challenging. If you cannot come up with an optimized solution we recommend coding a bruteforce solution that passes the first few test cases then moving on to the next problem. Please do not cheat by asking your friends or AI tools. The questions can be solved with simple data structures and will not require the implementation of specific algorithms or data structures to solve including:

Graph algorithms

Sorting algorithms

Binary search

Requirements

You are:

Highly motivated independent engineer that thrives in uncertainty believers in the startup ethos of shipping fast constantly iterating and not being afraid to pivot. As one of the first full time engineers at Plume you will work directly with the CTO to build beautiful responsive and robust user experiences.

Overall Responsibilities

Build fullstack product experiences like our endtoend onboarding platform and test net campaign dashboard

Work with smart contract engineers to integrate blockchain calls in our clients apps

Work with designers to create a beautiful responsive frontend

Design and implement a resilient backend architecture to support API servers databases and indexers

Optimize backend and frontend code to reduce latency and increase reliability

Within 1 month you should expect to

Onboard to the team and existing application code

Understand the product operating model at our clients and how we prioritize our core product areas

Ship at least 2 new features and make improvements on top of our endtoend onboarding platform

Design the backend architecture to support the test net campaign dashboard

First learn and then lead our weekly QA and present product demos to the team

Within 3 months you should expect to

Launch the incentivized test net campaign dashboard

Integrate the Plume chain and all Plume products with robust monitoring and alerting infrastructure

Work directly with the CTO to propose and implement security policies

Brainstorm novel product experiences to build for Plume main net

Mentor and give guidance to junior product engineers

Interview prospective engineering hires and participate in the hiring committee

Qualifications

3 years of experience in software engineering at a reputable startup or a large tech

1 years of experience in frontend / fullstack development with specific experience in React or a Reactlike framework

1 years of experience in backend / fullstack development

You must be based out of Canada or the US

Familiarity with AWS services or deep familiarity with other cloud providers

Candidates without a Bachelor s degree in a computer science / engineeringrelated field must have an exceptional work history
