Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

Location: Sparks Nevada

Salary Range: $81000 $101000 plus performance bonuses

Job Overview:We are looking for a detailoriented Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Sparks Nevada. In this role you will be instrumental in both the design and continuous enhancement of our mechanical systems and components. Your expertise in CAD software will be crucial for producing precise technical drawings and models as well as developing and refining manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency and quality in our product line.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design detailed 2D and 3D mechanical components assemblies and part drawings using CAD software such as OnShape and SolidWorks.
  • Interpret engineering sketches and technical documentation to produce accurate and compliant designs.
  • Ensure designs meet all industry standards regulations and best practices.
  • Transform conceptual designs into functional and manufacturable products.
  • Lead design reviews to assess manufacturability assembly and performance issues driving resolutions effectively.
  • Document and enhance existing manufacturing processes to optimize workflow equipment utilization and time cycles.
  • Innovate and establish robust manufacturing methods for new products focusing on scalability and sustainability.
  • Adhere to and manage ISO 9000 requirements ensuring all processes and documentation comply with international standards.
  • Maintain detailed engineering documentation including drawings BOMs and ECOs.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure cohesive product development and execution.
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles to streamline operations reduce waste and boost efficiency.
  • Engage and train staff in continuous improvement practices promoting a proactive workplace culture.
  • Lead training sessions to pinpoint improvement areas and execute strategic solutions collaboratively.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering or a closely related field.
  • 35 years of experience in mechanical or design engineering particularly in the development and documentation of industrial products.
  • Strong background in the design and manufacture of heavyduty industrial products preferred.
  • Proficiency in lean manufacturing methodologies and ERP systems with Syteline experience being a significant plus.
