Specialist-Compliance Management facilitates the identification of internal and external presentation of information and adherence to guidelines/ legislations from the Company and maintains a diary of deadlines for submission. Coordinates with respective point of contacts in other Departments to ensure timely submission of such returns internally and externally.

Job Accountabilities/ Responsibilities:

  • Keep updated communications from Legal on the guidelines/legislations as to presentation of information/returns on Compliance with periodicity (weekly/fortnightly/monthly/quarterly/half-yearly/annually) and department-wise
  • Keep Diary on each of the regular returns to be submitted by each Department with deadline with name of the Regulator/Agency to whom need to be presented
  • Diarise and follow-up for any Adhoc returns/information to be presented to any Agency/Regulator
  • Regular follow-up with respective Departments to ensure timely submission of relevant data to designated authorities (internally within TP and externally to any Agency)
  • Get copies of each of the submitted return (internally or externally) by respective Departments and keep them in a separate file (Department-wise)
  • Evaluate and ensure all required submissions are completed and in case of exceptions, ascertain and record the reasons therefor with revised date for submission for follow-up
  • Prepare presentation to TRMC as to the compliance or exceptions
  • Review of Policies/Procedure Manuals/Process Flow relating to Risk & Compliance Department and other Departments as and when due
  • Assisting Quality Management – evaluate as to the requirement of the quality certification -v- any regulatory or legal requirements
  • Review of KYC and AML documentation
  • Investigation on Bribery & Fraud Risk on a quarterly basis and prepare findings to TRMC
  • Inspection of Inventory every quarter to evaluate the risks through requirement for storing, adequacy of space, safety of storing, maintenance of bin cards, availability of insurance and coverage of risks and raise exceptions, if any with recommendations for rectification with timeline
  • And other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Qualifications : ( Education, Experience, Skills & Professional Certifications ):

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or scientific discipline.

Experience:

  • 5+ years in Compliance/ Risk Management.
  • Familiar with Oil and Gas sector.

Skills:

  • Good Communication, Presentation and Facilitation skills.
  • Planning, organization and administrative skills.
  • Coordination with External Agencies.
  • IT Skills in PowerPoint, Excel and Access Database.
  • Team Management skills.
  • Problem Solving and Analytical skills.

Professional Certifications:

  • Compliance/ Risk Management Certificate or accredited qualification.
