The Assistant Mall Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of mall management including but not limited to tenant relations, customer service, business planning, facilities management, operational management, control of ambiance & traffic management, inspection and safety functions of the mall.
Responsibilities
- To prepare, review and adjust financial budgets, systems and processes and monitor performance against the budget.
- Managing mall operations, ensure smooth day to day operations.
- Coordinate with various departments in the mall, improve process and-policies to achieve organizational goals and monitor adherence to rules, regulations and procedures.
- Responsible for supervising, guiding and mentoring the Mall Operations team reporting into and take full responsibility in identifying potential talent and timely supporting professional development.
- Direct and coordinate the activities of staff and contract personnel and evaluate their performance.
- Motivating the staffs to improve performance and to achieve better results in their job prospects.
- Staff planning for the day to day operation of various departments (I.e. Security, House Keeping, Pest Control, Customer Service & Operation Executives) with in the mall.
- To ensure smooth and positive relationship with the tenants, suppliers and contractors.
- Develop and implement approved Standard operating procedures (SOP's) and systems across all mall functions to ensure smooth co-ordination / co-operation among various internal departments .
- Develop and upkeep the corporate mall identity - ensure adherences to corporate brand guidelines.
- Develop and maintain a long term beneficial relationship with all existing tenants and retail groups to ensure continued and future business.
Qualifications
- Preference for local nationals.
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience in similar field.
- Be proactive, focused and resilient whilst maintaining an adaptive approach.
