Financial Analyst

Carnegie Mellon University's department of Operations is searching for a Financial Analyst to join their team. You will contribute to the department by providing financial analysis and reporting, managing budget and forecast planning, and facilitating effective collaboration across teams and projects. Core responsibilities include: • Routinely analyze financial data and provide interpretive results, developing reports for senior management. • Maintain and enhance budget models, perform forecasting and scenario analysis as part of the university's overall budget process. • Serve as a key planning liaison between different campus and university teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. • Proactively support annual independent audit functions and manage audit-related processes. • Lead the creation and maintenance of financial process documentation, identifying opportunities for process optimization.
