Role: Elastic Search Architect

Contract 3 months initally

Location: Remote from anywhere in the UK Spain Poland Slovakia Finaldn India or Egypt

Experience: At least 5 years of demonstrable experience with the ELK stack (Elasticsearch Logstash and Kibana)

Day rate: 700 a day (outside IR35) open to negotiations

Tasks

1. Elastic Cloud Deployment: Proficiency in deploying and managing Elastic Cloud on GCP (nonmanaged) as well as onpremises environments.
2. Elastic Engineering Advantage: Previous experience working with Elastic engineering teams (development and DevOps) is a significant advantage.
3. Performance Troubleshooting: Skilled at diagnosing and resolving performance and scaling issues across Elastic and Kibana.
4. Large Cluster Expertise: Handson experience with large Elastic clusters exceeding 200TB storage and more than 25 Elastic nodes.
5. Performance Tuning: Indepth knowledge of performance tuning for Elasticsearch Elasticsearch API and Kibana.
6. ILM Configuration: Familiarity with Index Lifecycle Management (ILM) configuration.
7. Dashboard Optimization: Ability to enhance dashboard performance.
8. API Performance: Proficient in optimizing API performance.

Requirements

• At least 5 years demonstrable experience with ELK stack
• Experience of Elastic cloud deployment (GCP nonmanaged) as well as onPrem
• Working for Elastic engineering (dev devops) would be an advantage
• Troubleshooting performance and scaling issues across Elastic and Kibana
• Experience of working on large Elastic clusters in excess of 200TB storage and > 25 elastic nodes
• Experience of performance tuning (Elasticsearch Elasticsearch API Kibana
• Indepth knowledge of ILM configuration dashboard performance API performance
