Stores Assistant

We have an exciting opportunity to work for a nationally recognised logistics business, considered to be the leader in its field. Pay rates from 12 per hour. The role of Stores Assistant which is based in Hoddesdon

To assist with all stores related tasks and ensure continuous supply of materials to the shop floor, maintaining traceability throughout the manufacturing process

Key Responsibilities would include:

• Maintain focus on health & safety at all times.
• Physical issuing of required materials to Production.
• Ensure all goods received are checked upon arrival and physically labelled.
• Maintaining accurate Stock & WIP levels via accurate transactions.
• Assist with loading & unloading of vehicles in busy periods.
• Cooperate with Production supervisors to discuss priorities and materials required for the coming shift.
• Assist with battening & packaging of drums to prepare for shipping during busy periods.
• Print and distribute pick lists daily, to allow issuing of materials as per weekly schedule.
• Data entry into computer system.
• Assist with stock adjustments when requested.
• Assist with weekly inventory cycle counts.
• Assist with monthly physical stock checks.

Shift time and Pay

• 07:00 finish between 15:30/17:30
• 12 per hour
• Monday - Friday
