The Legal Counsel is responsible for Drafting, Preparing and Reviewing Contracts, and other Legal Documents, in addition to supporting the Head of Legal in examining and assessing various Legal Materials and ensuring that Quality Outputs/Deliverables are produced in a timely manner. The Legal Counselor also acts as a Legal Support for the Head of Legal mainly in the Legal Activities of Strategic and Non-Strategic aspects by doing a Legal Preliminary Analysis, identifying pitfalls and suggesting Legal Solutions. The Legal Counsel is responsible for examining legal issues and checking legislation points.

Works under Control, Management and General Supervision. May assist less experienced peers. Independently determines and develops approaches to solutions. Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy and meeting objectives.
Extensive-latitude for independent judgment.
Impact result; failure to achieve results or erroneous decisions or recommendations would typically result in serious Deliverables Delays and Legal Risks.
Main Responsibilities and Duties:
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with broad, generalist responsibilities, but with specialist legal subject skills in commercial law and regulatory matters.
Bring negotiation and drafting skills and business sense to deal with multiple functional teams in a rapidly scaling business.
Collaborate with local business leaders as well as with supporting areas (Finance, Admin, Accounting & HR) advising on legal risks, business strategies and other issues related to the Company’s businesses.
Work independently as well as part of various teams and take on projects in addition to the daily day job.3
Preparing, Reviewing and Assessing Project Tenders/Request For Proposals, including legal support during post-selection phase.
Supervision of Legal Contracts’ Drafting and Preparing and/or Reviewing various Legal Documents, including but not limited to:
All types of Corporate/Business Contracts MOU’s, NDA’s (Service Contracts, Service Providers Agreements, Rent contracts, Sponsorship Agreements etc.);
Legal Correspondences (Warnings, Notices, Contract Termination Letters, Forms, Templates etc.);
Bankers Bonds and Guarantees;
Terms and Conditions for Projects/Services and any other Legal Document etc.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Law.
Minimum 5 years of experience as in-house counsel and other relevant private practice.
Strong legal experience in corporate and commercial matters.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Full Time
