Tasks

Who are we looking for

As a Senior Industrial Designer within our Product Research and Development team you will be at the forefront of expanding our brands product catalog. Your primary objective will be to determine which products align best with our brand while ensuring profitability. This entails conducting thorough product and keyword research to identify optimal products based on customer search intent. You will play a pivotal role in creating and maintaining the Product Pipeline working collaboratively with the Product Development team. This role demands a blend of analytical prowess and creativity where datadriven decisions are married to innovative thinking to conceptualize and enhance product offerings. Intimate familiarity with our customer avatar and brand voice is crucial for success as you will validate product concepts through various research methods including gathering feedback from actual customers in collaboration with our Audience Utilization Manager.

Main Responsibilities

• Generate commercially viable development ideas for assigned products ensuring each product possesses a compelling Unique Selling Proposition (USP) that sets us apart from competitors.
• Collaborate closely with suppliers on product development adhering to price requirements while maintaining quality standards.
• Oversee the progression of products through the workflow adhering to agreedupon deadlines.
• Provide comprehensive product specifications and feature details to the content team for packaging and listing creation.
• Assist in creating specifications documents for the production team and instructional manuals for customers when necessary.
• Collaborate with designers to produce artwork product designs and mockups as needed.
• Ensure a minimum 30% contribution margin for all ordered products.
• Receive and evaluate samples for quality and functionality approving inspection reports and preproduction and production samples.
• Develop clear guidelines for each product for inspection company testing.

Additional Responsibilities

• Manage a sourcing and production team ensuring clear processes and meeting results.
• Collaborate with a Far East Sourcing Agent to identify supplier options and proceed with sampling using the Ignite framework.
• Select products based on quality specifications price factory communication and terms negotiating prices and terms with suppliers.
• Identify testing and labeling requirements and coordinate with suppliers.

Requirements

Job Requirements

• Experience in industrial design product development design engineering or brand manager roles.
• Experience developing fastpaced products that have been launched on Amazon worldwide is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with acute attention to detail capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Selfdirected and motivated capable of making decisions and driving projects forward autonomously.
• Proficient understanding of the consumer markets particularly the US Canada LATAM Europe and the Middle East.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse project stakeholders.
