Job Description
One of our important clients is currently looking for a Technical Tester for a 12month contract in Brussels. Day rate is negotiable.
As a technical tester your tasks consist in
Analyzing Reviewing Challenging and Accepting functional and nonfunctional requirements.
Identifying and Formulating functional and technical potential improvement.
Manual Testing
Sanity Smoke Integration Regression and E2E in TST ACC and PROD environments.
Defect Life Cycle Management for testing phases: Sanity Smoke Integration Regression and E2E in TST ACC and PROD environments.
Test Cases Data Set and Inputs creation and preparation in TST ACC and PROD environments.
Periodic QA Reporting to Management Product and Development teams.
Technical and Functional Support for Development Management Business
Database Testing Estimation Design Creation and Execution for testing phases: Sanity Smoke Integration and Regression in TST ACC and PROD environments Using SQL Server and/or Oracle DB Developer
Build and maintain SQL Queries
Test Plan Estimation Design Review Rework Creation Validation and Execution for testing phases:
DB Feeding workflow using Json/Xml files coming from Source systems
Data processing in DB using MQ Managers
API Testing Estimation Design Creation and Execution for testing phases: Sanity Smoke Integration and Regression in TST ACC and PROD environments Using Postman Swagger and Ready API.
API Defect Life Cycle Management for testing phases: Sanity Smoke Integration and Regression in DEV TST ACC and PROD environments.
Automation of Data Quality Control Process Using Ready API and Groovy Script
Participate to improvement of QA internal process Testing Methodology and Life Cycle
Supervising Test Automation activities outsourced to TCS Team
Producing QA/ Test Reports to Solution design and Architect team Development team Business team Customers Management Team
Creation of SQL stored procedures and triggers for automated data validity and integrity checks API Test Automation using the Test suites of Ready API
Requirements
- Ability to work with a team
- Can work min 2x/week onsite (Brussels)
- Problemsolving abilities
- You are fluent in Dutch or French and have a proficient knowledge of English.
- Good knowledge and experience on Relational DataBase (SQL)
- Business Capabilities
- Good knowledge of SDLC (Software Development LifeCycle)
- Good knowledge of Test and Defect Management
- Risk and Business value based approach
- Test Automation: Backend and Frontend
- Testing Process: Requirement Analysis Test Plan Design Test Plan Execution
- Tools: MQ Manager Ready API Swagger Postman SQL Server : SQL and PLSQL XML/ JSON Jira / Xray GIT/Bitbucket CI/CD Tool: Jenkins
