Multidisciplinary team is hiring a Structural Project Engineer for their growing Orlando team!
Responsibilities:
- Extensive knowledge of local and national building codes and design practices
- Design of new building structures as well as structural alterations renovations and additions to existing buildings
- Preparation of structural integrity and assessment reports
- Design and detailing of structure including calculations and computer modeling for steel concrete masonry and timber structures.
- Manage and Coordinate projects with clients and other disciplines.
- Collaborate with Senior engineers to assemble structural work products.
- Coordinate with Architectural Electrical and Mechanical drawings and attend coordination meetings.
- Perform site reviews and construction administration services during the construction phase.
- Knowledge of standard construction practices and the ability to work with contractors to address construction issues.
Requirements:
- BS or Masters degree in Civil or Structural Engineering preferred
- 5 years of structural design experience
- EI or PE/SE
- Experience using structural analysis/design software (Revit RISA 3C RISA Floor ADAPT)
- Experience designing a variety of projects (Healthcare Commercial Public Sector Industrial Education and/or Institutional projects
- Extensive knowledge of local and national building codes and design practices
