Technician

Job Summary:

The main responsibility of the Technician is to perform highquality repairs and maintenance. The Technician s competencies and a continuous improvement of the technical knowledge and skills in combination with a commercial mindset will ensure high level performance and customer satisfaction. Satisfied customers ontime delivery and safety at work are achieved by following defined processes standards and guidelines. The Technician contributes to the organizations profitability and safety on our roads.

Requirements

Applicants must meet the minimum requirements:

• Matric certificate or N3 or equivalent
  
• Qualified Diesel Technician with a Trade Test Certificate
  
• Minimum of 3 years of working experience as a Diesel Technician
  
• Workshop experience with repairing and maintaining heavy vehicles.
  
• Drivers license code 14
  
• Medically fit

• Before Maintenance or Repair Event Secure that the right information tools and spare parts are available

• After Maintenance or Repair Event Secure minimized lead time of invoicing. Through clear description of performed work and/or communicated what needs to be done if the work is handed over to a colleague
