JOB TITLE: Accounts Administrator
JOB SUMMARY:
The Accounts Administrator will be responsible for supporting the Accounts Department in ensuring the prompt and efficient processing of all transactions. This role requires contact with internal and external sources throughout the day.
Previous experience in finance is an advantage but training will be given.
The role would suit an individual seeking a career path in Legal Accounting and offers a training package.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supporting the Accounts Department in ensuring the prompt and efficient processing of all transactions in accordance with internal control(s) the SRA Solicitors Accounts Rules and the Firm s current AML Policy
Contacting/liaising with internal and external sources throughout the day
Assisting with the preparation of financial reports
Assisting with the preparation of VAT returns
Assisting with the preparation of annual accounts
Assisting with the preparation of management accounts
Assisting with the preparation of budgets and forecasts
Assisting with the preparation of cash flow forecasts
Assisting with the preparation of payroll
Assisting with the preparation of pension contributions
Assisting with the preparation of tax returns
Assisting with the preparation of audit files
Assisting with the preparation of client bills
Assisting with the preparation of client ledgers
Assisting with the preparation of bank reconciliations
Assisting with the preparation of petty cash reconciliations
Assisting with the preparation of credit card reconciliations
Assisting with the preparation of supplier payments
Assisting with the preparation of client payments
Assisting with the preparation of ad hoc reports
