Our client is looking for a Systems Administrator for a long term role in Lawrenceville GA. This is a critical position within the Server organization. This position will handle Enterprise Systems administration. This position will work closely with the Infrastructure Team external areas key customers and other IT teams as well. This position may also be responsible for managing projects.
Skills:
Minimum 2 years of experience in supporting local and wide area networks in a medium to large technical environment.
Preferred Experience:
3 years of experience managing and configuring server hardware
Operational knowledge of Exchange Online and Microsoft O365
Operational knowledge of Microsoft operating systems
Functional knowledge of Microsoft Windows ServerExchange Server Windows applications
Knowledge and understanding building maintaining and monitoring Windows servers
Operational and functional knowledge with HP server hardware and VMWare Virtual Servers
Knowledge and Understanding of Vulnerabilities and Remediation in the Windows Server Operating System
Responsibilities:
Microsoft server security critical updates and vulnerability patching
Server hardware build and configuration maintenance and troubleshooting
Server virtualization conversion
Server inventory tracking reconciliation and surplus management
Active Directory administration account and security group management
Exchange Server administration mailbox and email group management
Azure Administration and management
Analyzes development and implementation requirements and makes appropriate modifications to existing systems and prepares specifications based on customer requests
Performs needs assessment and recommends or develops system improvements and prepares related documentation
Participates in a variety of special projects related to Information Technology
Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers supervisors departments etc. sufficient to exchange or convey information and to receive work direction
