Data Center Technician

As a mentor and leader youll contribute to the knowledge base while tackling exciting challenges in hardware troubleshooting network setup and beyond.

About the Role:

• Support both companyspecific servers and customer data center buildouts
• Mentor and train other Service technicians
• Provide feedback and create documentation on technical and nontechnical processes
• Lead and drive initiatives to conclusion

What Youll Do:

Hardware Troubleshooting Related Skills:

• Great server hardware knowledge
• Proven RCA or Failure analysis history
• Assist in conducting failure analysis
• Support field deployments globally
• Utilize Linux and Windows CommandLine

Physical Network SetUp:

• Network troubleshooting
• Making cleaning or running cables
• Assist in setting up switches
• Confirming connections both visually and virtually
• Cable tracing and management

Communication Foundational Skills and Competencies:

• Setting up prework meetings
• Daily status updates
• Define develop and implement initiatives
• Proactively support field sustaining activities
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Provide timely feedback to Engineering teams
• Pre and postwork followup for projects

What Youll Bring:

• 46 years of related work experience
• Associates degree or technical certification preferred
• Ability to work autonomously and within a team

Preferred:

• CCNA certification
• MCP/MSCE certification
• Scripting experience (Powershell Python Bash)
