About You:

To excel in this role you shouldenjoy fastpaced environments problemsolving and have an interestin leveraging technology to make good decisions. You will get excitedat the prospect of actively and profitably trading electricity andpower derivatives across various markets. Youll also becomfortable with trading on extended day and/or night shifts.

How will I spend my day atNoriker

• Contribute to the execution strategyof a 24/7 shift trading team

• Actively trade on the UK powermarket making buy and sell decisions to generate P&L

• Real time analysis of the UK powermarket and operation of National Grid balancing actions

• Identification of value creationopportunities developing trading strategies and asset optimisationmodels within UK Balancing Services the BM and power markets

• Collaborate with software developersto implement expert advisory and automatic trading systems

• Report on trading performance P&Land risk metrics to senior management

• Stay updated on industrydevelopments regulations and emerging trends affecting powermarkets

• Support the business development teamaround flexible assets and demand to identify and optimiseopportunities

What skills will I need to succeed

• Degree qualified in FinanceEconomics Engineering or a related field (or equivalentexperience)

• Minimum one years commercialexperience in the UK energy markets ideally as a trader or analyst

• Comfortable with Excel or usingprogramming languages (e.g. Python) to interpret large data sets

• Excellent analytical and quantitativeskills with keen attention to detail

• Commercially focused with accountableproblemsolving abilities and committed to excellence

• Superb organisation time managementand communication skills

• Ability to work under pressure and totight deadlines in a fastpaced environment

• Selfmotivated and results orientated

• From the early stages of developingtrading systems and analysing the electricity market to improvingforecasting and trading models

• Mature outlook with commitment toperpetual learning and continual improvement

• Strong work ethic with a belief thattrue collective achievement is a product of graft and application

• Willingness to work in 24/7 shiftrotation
