Finance Executive - Account Payable

Responsibilities

• To report regularly to the finance manager on the work deliverables
• Collaborating with internal departments to gather analyse and interpret relevant financial data.
• Receiving processing verifying and reconciling invoices.
• Comparing system reports to balances and verifying entries.
• Charging expenses to accounts and cost centres as well as controlling petty cash spending.
• Verifying vendor accounts paying vendors and resolving purchase order invoice or payment discrepancies.
• Issuing purchase order amendments and stop payments.
• Monitoring payroll expense claims including salary advances and overtime payments.
• Reconciling account transactions with the general ledger.
• Performing recordkeeping and preparing financial reports.
• Keeping informed of regulatory requirements and best practices in accounting.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of working experience in similar position preferably in Food and Beverage or Hospitality industry.
• Possess a recognized degree in Accountancy or professional qualification.
• Strong command of written and spoken English Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin.
• Strong computing skill and experienced in operating eFinance systems.

Remuneration

RM 3500 to RM 5500
