Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough reviews of mortgage loans prior to foreclosure referral.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory and client requirements in loss mitigation processes.
- Assess borrower cooperation and responsiveness in modification processes.
- Verify borrower education on loss mitigation options.
- Review call recordings for proper handling of loss mitigation opportunities.
Role Details:
- Work on various aspects of mortgage servicing and default management.
- Conduct production or testing of quality controls for regulatory compliance.
- Analyze and solve lowercomplexity problems.
- Limited client exposure; interaction mainly with peers and supervisors.
- Receive moderatelevel instruction on daily tasks and detailed instructions on new assignments.
- Decisions may impact own work and that of others.
- Rotational shift work may be required.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Previous experience in mortgage servicing especially foreclosure and loss mitigation.
- Familiarity with federal mortgage servicing regulations (e.g. Fair Debt Collection Practices Act Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act).
- Understanding of defaulted loan lifecycle and various loan programs.
- Proficiency in navigating mortgage servicing systems.
- Ability to differentiate between delinquency levels and loan statuses.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
