On behalf of a SaaS scaleup firm in north Dublin we are looking to hire a Financial Controller.
Due to a recent private equity investment our client is looking to scale significantly in the coming years and therefore require a Financial Controller to provide strategic direction to the finance function as well as to the wider business.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the CEO and other senior leaders to develop and implement business plans and budgets acting as a commercial sounding board for the CEO.
- As part of the senior leadership team challenging assumptions and decisionmaking as appropriate and providing financial analysis aligning the approach to the strategy.
- Develop and maintain financial forecasting and budgeting processes and systems to deliver a fit for purpose finance and operational function with timely accurate insightful and compliant financial reporting to the executive team and Board as appropriate.
- Develop and maintain timely comprehensive and accurate KPIs and business reporting processes that drive performance.
- Develop and optimise the company s financial systems ensuring they are appropriate compliant and futureproof.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant and will have prior experience working in a scaling organisation.
Additional Requirements include:
- Strong commercial acumen with ability to work alongside CEO and Board members.
- Experience working with/ implementing accounting processes procedures and information systems.
- Experience working in a B2B SaaS environment is highly advantageous but not essential.
- Ability to build and lead a team through a significant change and growth period.
