Job Description

Overview

The Business Development Manager plays a key role in driving the growth and expansion of the organization by identifying new business opportunities building and maintaining relationships with potential clients and driving sales revenue. This position is crucial in driving the organizations revenue and market share growth by developing and implementing strategic business development initiatives.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through conducting market research and analysis.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients and key stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to drive business growth and achieve sales targets.
  • Negotiate and close business deals to drive revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized solutions for clients business needs.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to identify market trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts and reports to management.
  • Participate in industry events and conferences to promote the organizations services and products.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to drive continuous improvements in business development strategies.
  • Lead and mentor a team of business development professionals to achieve team goals and targets.

Required qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing or related field.
  • Proven track record of successful business development and sales experience in a relevant industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Strategic planning and analytical skills to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.
  • Experience in developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve business objectives.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Understanding of market dynamics and business trends.
  • Ability to travel as required to meet clients and participate in industry events.
  • Professional certifications in business development or sales (e.g. Certified Business Development Professional) is a plus.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fastpaced and dynamic environment.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong drive for success.
