Job Description

Customer Service Specialist

Overview:

The Customer Service Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty by providing exceptional support and assistance. They are the primary point of contact for customers addressing inquiries resolving issues and enhancing overall experience. This role is vital in maintaining and improving the reputation and success of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone.
  • Provide information about products/services and resolve productrelated issues
  • Process orders returns and exchanges
  • Handle and resolve customer complaints in a professional manner
  • Assist in placing new orders and tracking existing ones
  • Coordinate with other departments to resolve customer issues
  • Identify and escalate priority issues
  • Provide feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process
  • Document customer interactions and transactions
  • Stay updated on product knowledge and company policies
  • Participate in training and ongoing professional development
  • Contribute to team goals and initiatives
  • Assist in developing customer service standards and procedures
  • Collaborate with management to resolve complex customer issues
  • Maintain a positive empathetic and professional attitude toward customers

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Business Administration Communications or relevant field
  • Proven experience in a customer service role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problemsolving abilities
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
  • Empathy and ability to understand customer needs
  • Patience and resilience in handling challenging situations
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new processes
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities
  • Flexibility to work in shifts including evenings and weekends
