Job Title: Qualified Accountant 6 Month Contract. Start date ASAP.
Location: Bristol Minimum 4 Days per week in the office

As a Qualified Accountant within Rovco you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the financial health and integrity of our business operations. Your responsibilities will encompass various accounting and reporting functions critical to our financial success. With your expertise and attention to detail you will contribute significantly to the accuracy and transparency of our financial records ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and providing valuable insights for informed decisionmaking.

Objectives & Responsibilities:
Manage daytoday accounting operations including accounts payable accounts receivable general ledger entries and monthend close processes.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Maintain accurate financial records.
Assist in the development and implementation of financial controls and processes to optimize efficiency and mitigate risk.
Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial reports including monthly quarterly and annual statements. By maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance contribute to the reliability of financial data for internal stakeholders and external regulators.
Support communication of budgets and spends with stakeholders.
Provide valuable support to the Financial Controller FP&A manager and Deputy Finance Director in various financial activities such as controlling month end process establishing new entities reporting implementing changes to financial policies budgeting forecasting and strategic planning.
Through insightful analysis and reliable financial information contribute to informed decisionmaking and the achievement of organisational goals.

Certified Chartered Accountant (ACA ACCA CIMA or equivalent)
Proven experience in financial accounting reporting and analysis
Understanding of accounting principles and regulations
Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g. Xero)

Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Continuous improvement mindset with a proactive approach to process enhancement
