Job Description

Responsibilities:
  1. Prospect Identification and Onboarding:
    • Identify potential 2wheeler and 3wheeler assemblers/manufacturers within the EV industry specifically focusing on lithiumion battery applications.
    • Develop and implement strategies to effectively onboard these prospects as customers.
  2. Sales and Revenue Generation:
    • Conduct followups negotiations and effectively close sales related to lithiumion batteries to generate revenue.
    • Maintain relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and referrals.
  3. Market Intelligence:
    • Gather and analyze market data to understand market conditions and identify opportunities within the lithiumion battery segment.
    • Refine the sales funnel and strategies based on market insights.
  4. Key Decision Maker Identification:
    • Identify and establish relationships with key decision makers/influencers within target companies particularly those involved in lithiumion battery procurement.
  5. Customer Requirements and Product Support:
    • Collaborate with the Engineering team to gather customer requirements Statements of Requirements (SORs) and product specifications particularly for lithiumion battery applications.
    • Facilitate sample submission and coordinate with the application team for testing and approval of lithiumion battery samples.
  6. Events Representation:
    • Represent the company in expos seminars trade shows and other industry events to enhance brand visibility and generate leads for lithiumion battery products.
  7. Documentation and Reporting:
    • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of various trackers including daily weekly monthly and yearly sales reports presentations and brochures with a specific focus on lithiumion battery sales.
  8. Team Management:
    • Lead and motivate the Business Development (BD) and Sales team to achieve sales targets and company objectives with emphasis on lithiumion battery sales.
    • Regularly review team performance and provide feedback for improvement.
  9. Marketing Coordination:
    • Manage company digital assets such as the LinkedIn page and coordinate with external agencies to execute marketing activities and meet objectives with a focus on promoting lithiumion battery products.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Total Experience: 810 years with a focus on EV battery sales and business development particularly with lithiumion batteries.
  • Relevant Industry Experience: Minimum 2 years in EV battery sales with additional experience in charger tyre motor controller or BMS industries considered advantageous.
