Position Overview: As a Business Development Manager at Doughboys Pizza you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and market presence of our brand within the foodservice sector. This dynamic position requires a strategic thinker with a passion for building strong business relationships and a keen eye for identifying and capitalising on new opportunities. You will be responsible for researching prospecting and closing new business deals across a variety of hospitality clients.
Tasks
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and Identify Opportunities: Profile research and identify new business opportunities establishing and nurturing relationships with partners customers and distributors and maintaining a log on internal CRM systems.
- Customer Acquisition: Drive sales and acquire new customers within the out of home market which will include a variety of venues such as hotels restaurants leisure venues universities and more creating pullthrough via wholesaler stockists and distribution partners.
- Strategic Partnership Development: Build and maintain strong sustainable partnerships by understanding client needs and offering tailored solutions fostering relationships that lead to increased sales and brand visibility.
- Revenue Growth: Drive profitable revenue growth by developing and implementing strategies to expand market share meet sales targets and capitalise on emerging market sectors.
- Market Analysis and Competitor Monitoring: Monitor industry trends competitor activities and identify areas of growth to adapt strategies staying ahead of the curve and providing innovative solutions to our customers.
- Trade Show and Networking: Represent Doughboys Pizza at trade shows customer events and networking initiatives to establish brand presence build relationships and explore potential partnerships.

- Proven Sales Experience: Demonstrated success in a similar role within the food industry showcasing the ability to drive sales growth and meet targets through acquiring new business and fostering customer relationships.
- CustomerCentric Approach: Customer satisfaction is at the core of everything we do. Showcase your ability to understand and address client needs effectively providing added value solutions to our customers businesses.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills are essential to build rapport and negotiate mutually beneficial agreements with potential partners and customers.
